\nThe International Qur\u2019an Research Association (IQRA\u2019), in partnership with the above organisations, will
\nconvene the IQRA\u2019 2026 Global Conference on October 24\u201325, 2026 at the ICESCO headquarters in
\nRabat, Morocco.
\nUnder the theme \u201cGuiding the Digital Age: A Qur\u2019anic Compass for Human-Centered Innovation and
\nSustainable Development,\u201d the conference will bring together policymakers, scholars, technology
\nexperts, development institutions, universities and youth leaders to explore how technological progress
\ncan serve human dignity, justice and sustainable development.
\nBuilding on IQRA\u2019s 2025 Global Conference and its Global Declaration for Civilizational Renewal, the
\ngathering responds to a critical challenge: enabling the Muslim world to move from being a passive
\nconsumer of technology towards actively shaping its ethical and developmental direction.
\nDay One will focus on Qur\u2019anic ethics, artificial intelligence and human-centred innovation, addressing
\nethical AI governance, education, the future of knowledge and youth leadership. A key outcome will be a
\ndraft framework for ethical and human-centred AI based on Qur\u2019anic principles.
\nDay Two will address sustainable development, food security and global cooperation, including AI\u0002driven agriculture, smart farming, climate resilience and women\u2019s leadership in science and technology.
\nA strategic roundtable will examine \u201cThe Future of the Muslim World in the Digital Age\u201d and develop
\npractical pathways for institutional cooperation beyond the conference.
\nThe hybrid conference will enable international participation in English, Arabic and French.
\nA major outcome will be the IQRA\u2019 2026 Global Declaration on Ethical AI and Human-Centered
\nDevelopment, addressing human dignity, sustainable development, economic transformation, youth
\nempowerment and global cooperation.
\nThe conference aims ultimately to turn dialogue into practical cooperation and offer a Qur\u2019an-centred
